Growth Scholarship

GROWTH SCHOLARSHIP FUND

At the Young Latino Network (YLN), we are committed to fostering the personal and professional growth of Latine individuals and their allies. The Growth Scholarship Fund provides essential financial support to empower community members seeking professional development opportunities. By investing in the potential of talented individuals, we aim to nurture leaders who will drive positive change within their communities and beyond.

This initiative aligns with YLN’s core pillars of Growth, Democracy, and Social Change, addressing the barriers to advancement faced by Latine and BIPOC individuals. The Growth Scholarship Fund promotes racial equity, civic empowerment, and transformative leadership, helping to build a conscious racial justice collective that uplifts the entire community.

Program Objectives:

  1. Empower Personal and Professional Growth: Provide financial assistance to individuals pursuing training, certifications, or other professional development opportunities.
  2. Foster Civic Leadership: Encourage recipients to actively engage in their communities, promoting civic participation and democratic values.
  3. Advance Social Equity: Support individuals who are committed to addressing systemic disparities and advocating for racial and social justice.
  4. Build a Community of Changemakers: Cultivate a network of empowered Latine and BIPOC professionals who contribute to a stronger, more equitable society.
