Raíces is a transformative initiative that brings together Latine individuals and communities to reflect, learn, and act. Through a combination of workshops, learning circles, book discussions, and language classes, the program fosters a deeper understanding of racial justice, cultural identity, and community empowerment.

Latine Challenges in Racial Justice Workshop: A foundational workshop exploring the impacts of racism on Latine individuals and communities, equipping participants with the tools and knowledge to build solidarity and work toward transformative change.

Advanced Workshop: May 23-24.2025  November 14-15.2025

Raíces Learning Circles: A continuation of the Latine Challenges Workshop, these spaces offer collaborative dialogue and actionable strategies for addressing systemic challenges at the intersections of racial justice, community democracy, and health equity.

Raíces Book Discussions: Open to all, these in-person discussions focus on literature that explores the themes of racial justice, equity, and cultural resilience, encouraging reflection and shared learning.

Raíces y Palabras: Spanish language classes for heritage speakers, designed to reconnect participants with their linguistic and cultural roots, empowering them to engage more deeply with their identities and communities.

Break Barriers | Break Bread: Multicultural event where we share our experiences while enjoying traditional cuisine.

Semana de Siesta: It is a week-long celebration dedicated to Reclaiming Hispanic Heritage Month through a unique blend of mindful events, cultural exploration, resilience workshops, and restful experiences.
